ABCO has been around since 1981 when we were initially called Airport Bearing Co Ltd for good reason. We began life in and old shop very near East Midland Airport in the village of Kegworth, where we hoped to move onto the new industrial estate being constructed on the airport site and take advantage of that to grow our import/export business... Due to delays in the construction and with our lease about to run out in Kegworth we decided to re-locate to larger premises on the Blenheim Industrial Estate near J26 of the M1. It was at this time we had a change in focus and decided to concentrate on supplying the local area with fast same day service rather than looking to export product around the world. This proved to be a good move and we have good steady growth over the years, becoming one of the UK's largest stockists of general engineering maintenance products and services.
