Electrical Engineer:

• Responsible for the development of the power distribution system and components and ensuring their compliance with certification and safety standards.
• Evaluate and assess electrification technology trends in aviation
• Network and component modeling, especially regarding electro-thermal and transient behavior
• Support the adoption of the latest technology in the field of power management and drive future requirements within the company.
• Support Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Predictions, Common Cause Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis.
• You will take responsibility for the development of subsystems and ensure their compliance with certification and safety standards.
• Acting as an Avionics Airframe Electrical CVE on behalf of the Office of Airworthiness Experience Required
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in design/development preferably in Aviation
• Experience with aircraft electrical distribution systems and more electric aircraft developments.
• Good understanding of the electrical, mechanical, and thermal effects on electric power distribution and harnesses in Aviation
• Knowledge of the influence of electrical distribution system design on other non-electrical systems and the collective impact on the product, including EMI, shielding, and electrical grounding and bonding.
• Experience with power circuit topologies and equipment using active power devices (IGBTs, diodes, and SCRs) and passive components (Inductors, transformers, capacitors, etc.)
