Job Description: HEAT TREATMENT OPERATIVE
Duties to include but not limited too:
LOADING /UNLOADING CUSTOMER COMPONENTS: Ensuring customer parts are loaded correctly into heat treatment baskets following a works programme
HARDNESS TESTING: BHN using Rockwell and Vickers
USE OF OVERHEAD CRANE&FLT: Driving of Overhead crane and FLT (once trained and certified)
SETTING UP OVEN INSTRUMENTATION: ensuring all ovens are correctly set up to the required temperature (after training)
Working days/hours: 37.5 HOURS: 3 Shift pattern (06.00-14.00/14.00-22.00/22.00-06.00)
Start Date: ASAP
Desired Skills: Good communicator with a keen eye for detail. IT skills advantageous with a desire to develop and progress within the company.
Personal Qualities: Reliable, flexible, punctual, enthusiastic with a desire to learn all aspects of the job along with embracing any opportunities that may arise within the company
