We are now looking to recruit a highly motivated In-House Recruiter to support the People & Development Director deliver the strategic HR plan including the recruitment process, fulfilling the needs of the Thomas Dudley Group of Companies attracting the best possible candidates from shop floor to Director Level.
Working with the management teams across the Group to select and hire qualified candidates to fulfil vacant positions, using cost-effective techniques in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes. Assist with training line management where necessary on recruiting, interviewing, and the selection process as required whilst providing support to the HR Team with projects and day to day activities.
Management of the in-house recruitment process
Pro-actively recruiting and resourcing a talent pool for temporary assignments
Utilising appropriate tools including external recruitment sites to source suitable candidates
Screening candidates to ensure they have the skills and experience required by the recruiting manager
Organise the interviews, including dates and room bookings
Assist with interviews as required
Administration of references
Create and coordinate job advertising using various media
Develop and maintain contacts with colleges, universities, and other organisations to identify potential talent
Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates once internal sources had been depilated
Support a diverse workforce and comply with local and regional hiring guidelines and procedures, particularly for applicant tracking
Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates
Undertake benchmarking activities to ensure we are competitive within the market place

What you need to do it…
Previous background in either/or in-house recruitment or agency (preferably both)
Self-starter, able to work autonomously delivering high volume results
Proven abilities in qualification techniques
Strong and professional telephone manner, with ability to quickly identify quality results.
Knowledge and proven experience of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation.
Influencing and negotiation skills.
To be able to communicate effectively in both the spoken word or in writing whatever is appropriate to the audience.
