Role Purpose |

Responsible for all aspects of customer service, quoting, and orderbook management from initial enquiry through to delivery of the end product. |

Key Roles and Responsibilities |
|
· Advise and assist new and existing customers by creating and maintaining strong and effective relationships. · Maintain and increase sales within these customers. · Quote on potential new business and follow up new opportunities, using business acumen when dealing with complex variables. · Establish strong and effective relationships with other company departments. · Logical and methodical approach to work with strong emphasis on orderbook management and customer communication. · Able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines as required. · Timely reporting of any issues or occurrences to the Internal Sales Manager. · Carry out duties in a respectful and efficient manner, acting in the interest of the company at all times and complying with the company rules and regulations, including Health and Safety policies. · Complete any relevant training provided by the company and assist in the training of others where required. · Any other reasonable requests from the management team. |

Skills, Qualifications and Experience |

Qualifications/Experience |
Essential · Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent). · Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. · Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be advisable but not critical. · Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous. · Experience within a customer service environment. |
