Junior Designer and Estimator

Description

We are recruiting a Junior Designer and Estimator to join our Design and Estimating Team.
Candidates will need to have demonstrable experience working in a similar role, managing
enquiries, creating estimates/quotes, managing projects, liaising with clients, ability to
create/amend customer artwork to show the proposed bespoke design. See projects to
fruition, on time and to budget.

Candidates must possess many of the following attributes:

• Sales and costing experience is vital.
• Being confident as well as possessing excellent communication skills are vital as
  an ability to build a rapport with clients over the phone and via email will be
  expected.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with office and production
  colleagues will be imperative.
• A good level of understanding of what constitutes a good customer service
  experience is vital.
• An eye for detail and high standards of workmanship in all that is carried out will
  be expected.
• Good numerical skills are vital.
• Effective time management skills, with an ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Proven experience in CorelDRAW, Solidworks, CAD software or similar.
• Ability to create both design drawings (visuals) for client approvals and technical
  drawings for production purposes.
• Provide reporting/feedback to Head of D&E to ensure pricing levels are inline
  with the overall business expectations.
• Experience within the print industry would be an advantage.
