THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an OT Project Manager to join our ever-expanding team. This is an exciting role and the perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain in-depth experience with a focus on the Manufacturing Industry.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree level education preferred, or equivalent industrial experience
  • Experienced Project Manager with a history of project delivery and client management
  • Sound understanding (at a high level) of technology being delivered within Solution
  • Good people motivation and management skills; used to operating within matrix management organisation
  • Good appreciation of client sector

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Ensure project delivery to time, quality, budget
  • Project planning and resource allocation
  • Project documentation
  • Perform risk management (identify, own, and mitigate likelihood and impact of risks & issues)
  • Achieve or improving the ‘Sold At’ margin for projects managed.
  • Control & monitor project cash-flow, ensuring a healthy financial balance during execution, taking into account payment terms of suppliers and clients
  • Lead client relationship during the project phase
  • Leadership & matrix management of the technical team(s) and 3rd party suppliers
  • Maintain and enhance Cimlogic reputation and client perception & confidence in Cimlogic
  • Ensure project success by delivering the value defined in the project goals

PROJECT

  • Client and internal interface; overall responsible for the project after handover from Sales
  • Review, with BA & SA, the technical and non-technical requirements of the project
  • Project management plan and obtain acceptance at each stage
  • Project Plan, production & active management
  • Maintain and update communication matrix
  • Assign & control work to team (having estimated effort from presales as target)
  • Progress and Financial reporting to external and internal stakeholders
  • Produce quality deliverables using pre-defined governance practices
  • Change management & requirements maintenance with BA
  • Document and record decisions, actions, minutes, conversations between clients and suppliers
  • Ownership of supplier deliverables and progress
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of transition to support

QUALITY

  • Compliance to project management processes; ensuring lessons learned are applied
  • Identification and championing project delivery, and other areas, process improvements

COMMERICAL 

  • Be familiar with, review and assess client-imposed T&C’s, with regards to risk & delivery of one’s projects & any associated requests
  • Review & manage project risk and use project contingency and management reserve to minimise risks
  • Ensure T&C’s are imposed on suppliers which manage risk to delivery of your project ‘On time, On Quality & On Budget’
  • Produce and manage project P&L
  • Achieve or improve on the ‘Sold At’ margin for projects managed
  • Maintain commercial records for one’s projects including cash flow and expenditure
  • Identify areas of potential commercial risk to Sales at the assessment stage of a project or change requests
  • Assess and quantify the commercial impact when a delay occurs within a project because of the client or change request imposed
  • Financial management and communication with clients
  • Assign and relocate technical resources to maximize utilisation and minimise the impact of project delays

THE PERSON 

You will be proactive and dynamic. You enjoy being challenged on a daily basis and show a high level of dedication to your projects, actively demonstrating problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to mentor and manage individuals with varying degrees of skills and experience
  • Must be able to work on more than one project at any time & be able to react to a fast-changing environment
  • May be required to present to clients for project purposes and for the need to support pre-sales
  • Willing to invest in developing a better understanding of the technologies and subject of OT/MOM
