An experienced sales consultant with knowledge in engineering, automotive, maintenance will feel comfortable in this role working in a local geographical area, office and home.  It will involve developing and account managing some existing customers and many potential customers by making cold visits, phone calls, networking, gaining referrals and via email.  The main one will be visiting customers at their premises mostly around Staffordshire and the West Midlands.  There-fore you will be confident in increasing business through these methods.  The priority will be to build strong customer relationships through being personable, friendly, and understanding honesty and integrity pays off.  You will also have had experience in knowing that being consistently persistent gains results and understand handling every customer request gains customer loyalty.  Being confident to retain repeat order, show and demonstrate new products will gain further results as will accuracy by double checking and assisting in managing customers payments.  By having such experience in a similar or related role and having the enthusiasm to achieve results by working through challenges will see excellent financial rewards in return.  You are a winner in that exceeding expectations and supporting team members to make it happen every time is what you are about.

This role also involves sourcing products customers require that is available from the supplier base is a part of the cause as is helping with technical information.  The goal is helping customers see how you can benefit their organisation not just on a product price, but with providing a flexible service that will benefit the customer long term.

Our company has been established for many years who supply maintenance engineers involved with mobile plant, vehicle, machinery and building maintenance plus manufacturers mainly involved with metalwork giving customers access to tools, equipment, paint, consumables, welding products and fastenings. In addition, any organisations health and safety and facility departments giving potential customers access with supplies of PPE, hygiene and cleaning items along with their associated tools.

It’s a Monday to Friday role with a minimum of working 42 hours per week using the time to gain the very best productive opportunity around making customer contact to attract orders.  It’s a role where the more you put in, the more you will get out.  A basic salary and open-ended bonuses are available giving you the opportunity to earn from the additional business profits you bring in.  Building customer relationships take time so it will take a little patience but as long as you fit this criterion and make it happen, it will give you and our company the returns desired.  Support and coaching are on hand, however you must have the ability to hit the ground running after the initial system, process induction training and customer introductions .
