Three Supply Chain Warehouse apprentices required to work in a busy environment at Offshore Stainless, Offshore Stainless Supplies Ltd are a privately owned Stainless Steel Stockholder processing much of their own stock and specialist items within their faculty in Walsall, West Midlands.
The company have been supplying and supporting major industries with their stainless steel and nickel alloy requirements for over a decade. They serve many different markets, including offshore, Oil and Gas, Marine, Transportation, Automotive and Construction, both within the UK and Worldwide.

Duties are varied and typically include the following:

• Order picking
• Goods inwards - inspection and checking
• Final goods despatch
• The us of essential inspection equipment
• Fork Lift Truck in counterbalance and combi-lift training
• Overhead crane (in the future, after more experience)
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Strapping down loads securely and safely
• Banksman training
• Manual lifting training
• Using banding equipment and scales
• Adhering to Health and Safety procedures
• Carrying out safety checks on FLT's and other associated equipment
