Supply Chain Warehouse Apprentice

Description

A supply chain warehouse apprenticeship at WPS International, the trading name of WPSi Group PLC, specialises in the global sourcing and supply of tubular products and components manufactured in steel, stainless steel and copper alloys. Across their five divisions a wide variety of markets and industries are served, including Automotive, Food & Beverage, Medical & Heating and Plumbing.

Working on the shop floor as part of the pick / pack /despatch team, as well as in the Logistics Office, helping to plan and organise transport and stock control.

Duties will include:

• Training on 4-directional combi lift trucks, forklift trucks and side loader drivers
• Pick, pack and despatch operations
• Training on sawing equipment and other added value processes
• Training in logistics office procedures to include use of I.T systems
• Offloading of incoming stock off a variety of vehicles
