Wickens Engineering is a Worcester based, family-owned company with over 40-years’ experience in designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke, heavy duty storage solutions, ranging from Cantilever Racking to Safety Barrier Systems and Structural Pallet Racking to Rack Clad Buildings.
Wickens’ racking systems are manufactured from structural steel sections and are designed for use in arduous environments across a diverse range of industries, including steel and alloy stockholders and processors, automotive and aerospace, oil and gas, timber and builders’ merchants, as well as vehicle dismantling and marine. Each system is designed specifically to meet the storage requirement of the customer.
ISO 9001:2015 and CE accredited, Wickens takes great pride in its robust products. The company puts a great effort into continuously developing its people and investing in the most up to date manufacturing technology.
Working towards Industry 4.0, the purpose-built manufacturing facility implements a lean, semi-automatic manufacturing process to ensure industry leading quality whilst minimising production times. The machinery, including a CNC punch and shear, a CNC multi-axis drill line, robot welding plus an in-house paint facility, are operated by a 25-strong, qualified fabrication team, which includes five coded Welding Engineers, for projects beyond robot capabilities.
