Accounts and Admin assistant.

 

The Opportunity -

A precision manufacturer that continues to grow and invest is looking for an accounts and admin assistant to support and work alongside the accounts manager.

The role will include some admin duties such as –

  • Answering the phone, including taking messages and details from customers and directing calls to the correct dept.
  • Greeting customers and suppliers
  • Scanning, filing and attaching files to our database
  • Adhoc stationary purchases
  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies
  • Reconcile supplier statements with purchase ledger records
  • Maintain and file accurate records of admin and financial transactions
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in and administrative or clerical role
  • Proficient in computerised data entry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently
  • Proficiency using Google, Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
