JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATOR
SALARY: COMPETITIVE
TYPE: FULL-TIME PERMANENT
HOURS: 7:30AM – 16:30PM, MONDAY – THURSDAY,
HOURS: 7:30AM – 12:30PM FRIDAY.
THE ROLE:
Reporting into the purchasing and logistics manager, you will be responsible for a range of key administrative functions that support day to day operations across the business.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Purchasing
- Raising and chasing purchase orders to outside suppliers and confirm order receipts
- Chase overdue purchase orders and update order system
- Sending out enquiries and chasing supplier’s quotes
- Ordering office stationery and supplies
- Taking incoming phone calls and distributing
- Maintaining purchase order system
- Resolve invoice queries
- Ad hoc administration duties
Operations
- Planning and communicating maintenance team workstreams
- Provide administration support to the H&S function including but not limited to:
- carrying out COSHH assessments and meeting administration
- recording/ monitoring of maintenance requests
- planning and communicating maintenance team work- flows
- Ad hoc administrative duties
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- This role is ideally suited to someone with a background in purchasing operations in the manufacturing, engineering or construction sectors
- Have a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to prioritise multiple challenges at once
- Have a confident & professional telephone manner and the ability to build meaningful relationships both internally & externally
- A naturally creative problem solver
- Reliable with a positive attitude
- Enjoy negotiation
- Computer literate particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Purchasing diploma (desirable)
