Job Description:
The primary role would be to assist in both the pre and post sales development of Okuma & Makino machine tools and this would also involve training customers on use of these products. It would also be the responsibility of the Applications Engineer to successfully complete the turnkey solution once the machines arrive in the UK to the satisfaction of the customer so they receive exactly what was purchased.
Qualifications and Qualities:
GCSEs in Maths English and Science at Grade c or equivalent or above.

- Good communication skills both verbal and written
Working Hours:
Working hours for our apprentices are 9:00 – 5:30 – 37.5 hours per week.
Once qualified, some flexibility may be required to ensure machines are set up and machine good components to ensure the customer can commence production as soon as possible. Night shifts are NOT required. In exceptional circumstances overtime will be paid for weekend work.
Additional Information:
Must be able to drive before returning to company full time.
