Description

As a manufacturer and developer of flex solutions (including cell contacting systems) for EV vehicle battery modules, we are currently looking for an APQP Quality Engineer. 

The successful candidate will focus on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and provide critical support throughout project lifecycles.

The APQP Quality Engineer will:

  • Facilitate APQP activities such as risk assessment, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and control plan development to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Support customer interactions, including participation in quality audits, responding to customer inquiries or concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of quality-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific quality plans, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives.
  • Provide quality engineering support throughout the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process, from project initiation to production launch.
  • Participate in cross-functional project meetings, providing input on quality-related issues and driving resolution of quality concerns.

 

The APQP Quality Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Master’s degree or certification in quality management preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering roles, with a focus on APQP and project support within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, control plans, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., APQP software, statistical analysis software).
