Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and presentation of compelling proposals, bids, and contracts in collaboration with technical and production team.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and long-term growth objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and marketing to align business goals with technical capabilities and operational execution.
Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster new business relationships.
Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track progress through CRM tools, and provide regular updates and forecasts to senior management.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of business development, sales, or account management experience in the precision engineering or manufacturing sector.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of precision engineering, including machining, supply chain across multiple industries and related technologies.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client portfolios.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear, compelling manner.
Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with precision engineering processes and the ability to understand client requirements in detail.
Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience understanding technical drawings and specifications.
