Ontic is the leading global provider of OEM-pedigree parts, MRO Services and serviceable parts for legacy aerospace platforms. Due to our continued success and our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham.
What you’ll be doing
Using the experience you’ve already gained in a commercial or contracts role you’ll manage all contracts the business is negotiating and entering into, which will include writing, evaluating, negotiation and executing various contracts covering a range of transactions in addition to creating and maintaining relationships with our suppliers and customers. You’ll confidently present bids to higher management whilst working across all levels of the business building and maintaining successful relationships and using your knowledge of both the UK and US defence aerospace markets to give advice on the contractual requirements needed. You’ll create and maintain accurate and up-to-date records that can be utilised by others within the business and work closely with our Compliance Team to ensure that we are operating in accordance with applicable export regulations, developing a best practice approach across all disciplines of the Contracts team.
What you’ll already have
You’ll be educated to degree level or have demonstrable equivalent relevant experience in addition to at least 5 years in a Contracts or Commercial role. You’ll need an in depth understanding of the bid process together with a working knowledge of the UK and US defence aerospace markets.
