Control Panel Fitter/Wirer

We’re looking for a Panel Fitter/Wirer to join Transicon, a leading control system manufacturer based in Telford.

The right candidate will be capable of completing the build of a control panel from start to finish, including assemble and wire control panels, cabinets and cable systems, all to a high standard.

• Starting rate of £13.92 per hour
• Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 4:15 pm, Friday 7:45 am - 3:15 pm
• Some overtime available

Job Description

• This role will involve point to point wiring, cable crimping, looming and cable terminating work
• You will be expected to work independently to produce a variety of bespoke control panels at a modern manufacturing facility

Requirements

• Previous experience with control panel / cabinet wiring
• Must be able to read and work from schematic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
• The ability to work with limited or no supervision and complete work within allocated time scales
• Electrical installation experience would be an advantage
