Candidates who are in a pressing, welding, laser cut fabrication and CNC machining industry and are actively looking to go into an estimating/office-based engineering role will be well suited.

  • Liaise, communicate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain subcontract costs
  • Prepare cost sheets for individual components and assemblies to deadlines, ready for the sales team to quote
  • Assist with preparation of production components and material which will involve working with various internal teams and uploading on to our ERP system
  • Work effectively with other members of the estimating department and wider business to achieve the most effective and competitive solutions

Supporting with business/costing queries on our ERP system through reviewing process routes and BOMs
