  1. Summary of Role
  • Concept, Specify and Integration of Industrial enterprise systems, utilising Industrial software applications
  • You will be reporting directly to the Engineering Director
  1. Job Responsibilities
  • Liaise with sales team and clients to understand client’s requirements or working from client’s specifications.
  • Concepting of Industrial Enterprise Solutions to meet requirements
  • To integrate and implement Industrial IIoT solutions across a range of industries and applications
  • Ensure adherence to all appropriate industry standards and regulations and in accordance with customer specifications
  • Provide a high-quality service to customers, whilst delivering Industrial IIoT solutions in line with the Company’s philosophy
  • Maintain the Company’s reputation as a leading-edge systems integrator
  • Demonstrates team leadership through ownership of technical project deliverables and enhancement of sales support tools through case study development for assigned project work scopes.
  • To handle integration on industrial automation projects (hardware and software) with special responsibility for MES, MOM, MI, Big Data and user interface dashboards
  • Network design and commissioning
  • Industrial IT security
  • On-site integration management, commissioning, of completed project, if required
  • To ensure that all design deliverables meet company standards and to work alongside Project Engineers assigned to the projects
  • Comply with all relevant standards and work to the Company’s ISO9001:2015 registered quality procedures
  • To comply with all Company procedures as defined in various documents including the Quality Manual, Staff Manual and Health & Safety Manual
  • Be pro-active in supporting other company activities such as supporting fellow engineers, training, and assisting with sales and site support
  • To maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers and company staff
  • Other duties as required
  • re quotations and specifications for automation application tenders, within the set deadline date
  • Oversee and manage the internal tenders team at our Telford office
  • Liaise with the sales team, to include project updates, latest industry technologies
  • Handle sales and project customer requests for information
  • Deliver a high quality service to customers, maintain the company’s reputation as a leading edge systems integrator
  • Provide technical support and training to the tenders team
  • Manage and control engineering resources to support complex technical bids
  • Attend customer survey, tender and project review meetings when required
  • Adhere to all relevant standards and work to the Company’s ISO9001:2008 registered quality procedures
  • Comply with all company procedures as defined in various documents including the Quality Manual, Staff Manual and Health & Safety Manual
  • Cooperate with company activities such as supporting fellow engineers and assisting with sales and site support
  • Maintain excellent working relationship with customers, suppliers and company staff
  • Work outside normal hours in order to meet required deadlines
  • Travel within the UK and overseas
  • Other duties as required
  1. Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Degree in relevant engineering or Computer Science field
  • +5 years of experience in software delivery projects in industrial environments
  • +3 years of domain experience working with integration of MIS, MES, MOM, SCADA, MRP/ERP systems, turnkey solutions or applications
  • Experience delivering integrated solutions using modern software technologies and techniques to ISA 95 framework
  • Client Engagement
  • Experience in interfacing of enterprise systems to the SCADA or Automation layer through Data Historians, OPC servers, or other mechanisms
  • Working knowledge of industrial IT networking and cyber security
  • Knowledge of low-level automation devices (PLC, Robotics)
  • Ability to work either individually or as part of a team
  • Able to manage and document the information required for a successful project
  • Previous Experience in industrial control systems
  • Knowledge of Cloud solutions
