Description

Incap UK is looking to recruit a team-player with excellent communication skills to complete a Level 3 Engineering Technical Apprenticeship. The Apprenticeship will lead to opportunities for the right person to become a fully qualified Electronics Test Technician or a Manufacturing / Process Technician.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Electrical and electronics testing and diagnosing root cause failure within electrical and electronic assemblies
  • Assist with the functional testing of printed circuit assemblies (PCA’s) and unit assemblies
  • Diagnosing faults on PCAs and units down to component level
  • Programming of ICs using associated software and hardware suites
  • P.A.T. testing of manufactured products and test equipment
  • Expected duration: 48 months
  • Possible start date: 05 Sep 2022
  • Working week: 39 hours over 5 days

REQUIREMENTS

  • PC literate with experience of Microsoft Office products
  • Interested in Electronics / Manufacturing Engineering
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Good communicator
  • ‘Can do’ attitude
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Minimum GCSE grade A*-C (9-4) or above including English, Maths and 2 others (preferably one being a science) or equivalent

  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
  • EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
  • EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering – Product Design and Development Technician (Development Competence)
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English if required
