Based at our customer’s sites in Yorkshire and across the UK, you will work alongside our experienced team.

Some relevant experience in a similar field is required, but full training will be given.

Who is ISF and what do they do?

ISF is a leading provider of engineering solutions to the Animal Feed Manufacturing industry in the UK. We manufacture, install, maintain and repair processing machinery to keep feed mills across the UK fully operational. Improving their efficiency and reducing costs, the work we do plays a crucial role in the British food supply chain.

As an Installation Engineer, you’ll join a close-knit, experienced team, helping to install equipment and machinery at our customers sites in Yorkshire and across the UK.

You’ll be supported to grow skills, knowledge, and develop your career in engineering, whilst making a real contribution to our customers in the animal feed processing industry.

As an Installation Engineer your work will mainly be on our customers sites, helping to install processing equipment. This will be split between working locally (within 80 miles radius) and working further away which may need an overnight stay.

We offer excellent rates of pay and overtime at enhanced rates, plus a generous overnight allowance and expenses when required.

Daily activities will include:

  • Working alongside our highly skilled engineers to install equipment and machinery at client sites across the UK.
  • Developing and applying technical skills which will include: Welding, Pipework and Pneumatics, Installation of steel structures, Mechanical assemblies, and Process engineering principles.
  • Assisting with the planning and organising installations so that required equipment, machinery, fixtures and fittings are taken to the site, with high standard of finish and complying to health and safety standards.
  • Problem solving challenges ‘on the go’, bringing ideas that could make a real difference to the businesses we help.
  • Building strong relationships with our customers, answering queries and offering solutions to their processing workflow.
