This is an exciting new role, having excellent communication skills to work well with our mechanical, electrical, software, electronic, engineers supporting the vast range of existing high-quality products and new product development. - Building Prototypes, producing and refining CAD models
- Producing Technical and assembly drawings
- Constructing BOMs and modifying with parts, raw materials and routing information
- Producing, assembling and testing prototypes
Overview
- Location: Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire
- Hours: 37 hours per week – 8.00am to 4.30pm Mon–Thurs (30 mins lunch), 8.00am to 1.00pm Fri (no lunchbreak)

Requirements
Essential:
- HND or equivalent in a engineering based subject
- Product assembly (mechanical)
- Component proto typing
- Understanding of BOMs and their hierarchy
- CAD Skills ideally Solidworks
- Experience in working in a team
- Understanding of basic machine shop processes
- cnc milling, turning
- Sheet metal
- fabrication
Desirable:
- CorelDraw
- MRP Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One
- Understanding of design for 3D printing and 3D printer operations
- Knowledge of post process treatments
- Machine shop safety certification
- CITY AND GUILDS pipework and brazing or equivalent
- Data processing, basis spreadsheet skills
