We are looking for a target-driven New Business Development Manager with a hunger for seeking out new opportunities where you can showcase our impressive portfolio of IT and cyber security products and services to UK businesses.  You will be a natural communicator (both face-to-face and over the phone) and be able to build trust with potential customers quickly through demonstrating your knowledge and understanding of how technology can deliver value to their business. 

You will be a key member of our IT Solutions Sales team who are responsible for the overall growth of our IT and cyber security business. Using our CRM system, you will manage your sales pipeline which will include self-generated opportunities as well as inbound enquiries to ensure we have visibility of all sales opportunities to deliver targets.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Maintain contact with a high volume of potential customers to source new leads and qualify opportunities, using telephone, online communication channels, as well as through face-to-face networking events 
  • Understand the needs of potential customers and the drivers for technology adoption, and position OGL’s products and services to deliver the right solution 
  • Nurture qualified opportunities through online and/or face-to-face appointments, produce timely and compelling sales proposals, and demonstrate OGL’s expertise to win new business 
  • Work alongside Marketing, and other Sales teams, to deliver and optimise opportunities from campaigns and incoming leads 
  • Identify opportunities for future growth through awareness of industry trends, new markets, competitor activity etc 
  • Meet KPI’s and sales targets 

Skills & Experience...

  • 2-3 years’ experience in selling managed IT and cyber security solutions 
  • Preference will be given to those with knowledge of Microsoft Azure & Office 365 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a new business pipeline from end-to-end 
  • Enjoy a challenge and being rewarded for success and achievement 
  • Have a passion and proven track record for achieving targets 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to implement any training given 
  • Full UK driving licence
