About this role:
Here at Varlowe Industrial Services, during an exciting period of growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of various Fabrication, Pipework and Welding projects across the Uk.
The incoming Project Manager operates in support of our existing team of Project Managers, delivering a range of industrial projects in various sectors.
Varlowe is a family-run business that is going from strength to strength. We have just moved into a newly refurbished head office, with a new fabrication and CNC workshop.
Primary Tasks and Activities:
- Conclude Formal Quotations.
- Deliver essential project management functions to support the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.
- Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial and program estimates to ensure the Project is accurately planned and reported.
- Manage the planning, monitor and control of work packages being delivered by other internal and external resources.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- Experience operating in the Commercial and Industrial sector with a demonstrable track record.
- Computer-literate (MS Office based Products: Outlook, Excel, Word, Project & PowerPoint).
- Good understanding of building and engineering services design and associated British Standards.
- Good knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, Construction Design and Management Regulations and other relevant statutory requirements.
