The opportunity
We are looking for a QC Technician to be part of our Quality Team.

 

The Role
Summary: the role is to verify product and process conformity and release acceptable product to stock, including the generation of required documentation and certification. It is to take necessary action to ensure that non-conforming products are identified and segregated to prevent use.

The responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

  • To collect, verify, report and analyse information required by the company management system to verify product conformity
  • To prepare, approve and issue documents required by the company management system and customers’ national and international standards
  • To record and report accurate information as required
  • To attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
  • To suggest and assist with improvement recommendations

 

The person
For this role, it is essential that you have the following:

Experience/Skills

  • Level 1 Maths and English or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain high standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and processes

  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn
  • Motivated working alone and as part of a busy team

Desired:

Experience/Skills

  • QC experience
  • Experience with EFACS and MeasurLink (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Previous experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
