Role Overview

MWS is seeking a dynamic Service Contract Manager, in this role, you will manage the contract renewal lifecycle with existing customers through regular conversations over the telephone and via email and also deliver sales of service contracts to new customers.

Drawing down on vast amounts of quality data, contact databases and previous work you will regularly follow up with potential customers and previous customers that do not have a service contract in place to educate them on our support packages.

You will also be responsible for the management of the calibration sales of vehicle weighing products which are returned to the business annually.

You will work with KPIs set by the business to monitor progress against service contract renewals and service contract growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate sales leads and opportunities for service contracts, while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Drive revenue by promoting and selling service support contracts alongside our range of industrial and vehicle weighing scales
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within our customer base.
  • Provide guidance to customers on the benefits of our service contracts, aligning solutions with their specific needs.
  • Maintain contract sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position our service contracts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to pass on customer enquiries and sales leads for new goods and projects.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Director to develop targeted campaigns and materials supporting contract sales initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated success in sales, preferably within a B2B context, with experience in service contract sales preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Proven negotiation abilities and a results-driven approach, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Confident phone manner is essential
  • Knowledge of industrial weighing scales or related products/services is advantageous but not essential.
