His degree apprenticeship with AMRC Training Centre means he will study for a Level 6 in Manufacturing Engineer degree over the next 5 years. In his first year he will complete a 38-week block training period where he will be at AMRC Training Centre full-time. During this time, he will complete modules on Hand Fitting, Manual Turning, Manual Milling, CNC Milling, CNC Programming/Turning and Business Improvement.

Paul Stockhill said “Nathan will be our first-degree apprentice, and I’m delighted that we can give a young person this opportunity to learn and develop his skills. He first came to us on work experience from Doncaster utc in July 2023 and showed a good aptitude, willingness to learn and was a good fit with the rest of the team. He stayed in touch with the business and was keen to join us on an apprenticeship.”
