E3 Recruitment are proud sponsors of Make UK’s Regional Awards celebrating region’s manufacturers at prestigious awards ceremony

E3 Recruitment is delighted to be sponsoring the Make UK Regional Dinner, which celebrates manufacturers achievements, and is taking place on Thursday 7th October 2021 at The Crown Hotel in Harrogate.

This is the sixth year E3 Recruitment, as an engineering and recruitment specialist, has sponsored the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Dinner, and is looking forward to meeting and reengaging with familiar and new faces at the black-tie event in person, which provides the opportunity to award manufacturers and their apprentices who have undertaken exceptional work across the sector.

The regional results of the Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2021 will be announced on the evening and are an opportunity to honour and recognise the region’s incredible makers, innovators, and leaders within the sector.

Tracie Norton, E3R Director Commented: “We are excited to announce that we are an associate sponsor of this year’s Make UK Regional Dinner. We’ve got everything crossed that this year’s event will go ahead in person, so we can celebrate together the region’s manufacturing heroes which continue to lead the way, as well as build new connections, and hear from renowned industry leaders.

“Manufacturing has proved it is the lifeblood of the UK, continuing to be operational throughout the pandemic and spearheading the recovery with continued growth, innovation and investment in the sector. None of this would happen without the talented people who drive these businesses, which is why being a sponsor of the Regional Dinner is a great strategic fit for us.”

The awards this year are divided between Business and Apprentice categories, including, Business Growth and Strategy, Developing Future Talent, Energy & Sustainability, Health and Safety, Innovation, Manufacturing Matters and SME of the year. The awards entries for the 2021 programme have now closed and all applications are currently being judged with shortlisted award entries being announced next month.

June Smith, Regional Director of Make UK commented: “Over the last eighteen months manufacturing has shown just how vital it is to the economy. This is exemplified by companies right across the Region who have demonstrated quite how innovative and adaptable they are in the most challenging of circumstances. It’s only right that we celebrate the people and companies who have made this happen.”

The evening will include an inspiring after-dinner speaker which is yet to be announced and an address from Stephen Phipson, Make UK CEO who will provide insight on key topics impacting the industry to the attendees, which include business leaders, Make UK Award entrants, and their family, friends, and colleagues.
