E3R to celebrate the best of manufacturing as MAKE...

As a specialist recruiter for the manufacturing industry, we believe it is important to celebrate the incredible makers, innovators, and the people who work within the industry driving it forward, which is why E3R is proud to be sponsoring the Make UK Manufacturing Awards North East / Yorkshire & Humberside Dinner 2022.

This prestigious annual event takes place on Thursday 3rd November at Pavilions of Harrogate, where the industry will celebrate the best of manufacturing, as the regional winners are announced to manufacturing’s key players.

The Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2022 provide a platform to celebrate manufacturers and their apprentices who have undertaken exceptional work across the sector. The Business Awards categories include Business Growth and Strategy, Developing Future Talent, Energy & Sustainability, Health & Safety, Innovation, Manufacturing Matters and SME of the Year. The Apprentice Awards categories include Business Apprentice of the Year: Rising Star and Final Year; Engineering Apprentice of the Year: Rising Star and Final Year; and Apprentice Endeavour Award.

The awards entries for the 2022 programme have now closed and all applications are currently being judged with shortlisted award entries being announced next month.

Dawn Huntrod, Regional Director of Make UK commented: “The last twelve months have proved to be challenging with materials and skill shortages, rising energy costs, and introducing new practices to cut carbon emissions.  We are looking forward to once again celebrating the manufacturers who are embracing these challenges and succeeding. Thank you to E3 Recruitment for sponsoring the Make UK Awards North East Yorkshire & Humberside Dinner for the seventh year running and helping make it happen – it always proves to be a great evening for all those in attendance.”

The Make UK Awards and Dinner is an opportunity to network with industry peers at an arrival drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal, and inspiring after-dinner speakers will bring the evening to a close. Make UK COO Ben Fletcher will update attendees on key topics impacting the industry, which include business leaders, Make UK Award entrants, and their family, friends, and colleagues.
