How This MIM Member Earned an Apprentice Employer Award

October's instalment of The Editor's Pick saw guest editor Dave Wheatley (Sales Director from Wickens Engineering) speak with 3 industry leaders from the Made in Group about their latest company news.

As that week's Guest Editor, Dave was able to select any recent news stories from the Made in Group membership, and decided to speak with Paul Hodgetts from In-Comm Training, David Alexander from Lander Tubular Products and Robin Hartley-Willows from FourJaw Manufacturing Analytics to discuss the latest in manufacturing.

Here we are focusing on the segment of the episode in which we heard from Lander Tubular Products' Sales & Marketing Manager. Lander Tubular Products is a leading manufacturer of metallic and plastic manipulated pipe assemblies for the automotive, commercial vehicle, off highway and industrial sectors.

David was keen to find out more from David about an article posted on Lander's microsite recently titled "Lander to collect number 1 UK Top 50 SME Apprentice Employer award at House of Lords reception".

Jade Pickles, who is an Apprentice Improver at Lander, spoke at a reception at the House of Lords for employers featured in the Top 50 SME Apprentice Employers for 2022 on Wednesday 14th September. She also collected Lander's award certificate for being voted the number 1 SME Apprentice Employer in 2022. Lander were rated as the UK's Number 1 SME Apprentice Employer for 2022 back in June.
