In a recent update from Made in Group’s CEO Jason Pitt, via Youtube, the trade association announces its plans to recruit two new team members - Regional Director for Made in Yorkshire and Recruitment Director preferably based in Birmingham. Jason also announced the group's office move and spoke about Made Futures - a groundbreaking virtual event.
Jason broadcasted live across the Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire social platforms last week to announce the groups exciting plans for taking on two new recruits. The Made in Group, who recently employed an Artificial Intelligence graduate set to start at the end of January 2021, are looking for local and enthusiastic people to join the dynamic team currently working from home.
The first of the two positions available is the role of Regional Director for Made in Yorkshire. The Made in Group is looking for someone to be the go-to person for our members in Yorkshire, someone local who is passionate about manufacturing. Jason said:
“In addition to looking for a Regional Director for Yorkshire who can help support members alongside Joe, who recently relocated to Leeds, we are also looking for new office space. Therefore I would like to invite members who would like to consider facilitating Yorkshire HQ at their premises, preferably in West Yorkshire.”
As for the second position, the group is looking for a Recruitment Director to manage the Made Futures Jobs board. Made Futures is a virtual exhibition taking place from 22nd - 26th March in aspirations of creating 1,000 jobs within the manufacturing and engineering Industry. The Made in Group’s jobs board will allow members to promote opportunities to people in a relevant career space for free. Jason continued:
“We are looking for someone who will encourage members to post job opportunities to our jobs board, collect case studies after the exhibition in March and help us recruit new members.”
In addition to the latest announcements, the group will also be moving to a new office when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Based in Birmingham's Jewellery quarter, the group has plans to renovate the working space over the coming weeks. The office layout will adhere to mental health wellbeing, which includes a mediation pod and breakout areas.
