MTI Welding is proud to announce two new appointments for 2025!
Nick McCarthy has been appointed as Global Business Development Director and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of Friction Welding. McCarthy's role will focus on enhancing the adoption of Direct Drive friction welding solutions, a foundational technology for many industries requiring robust and precise welds. McCarthy will also lead initiatives aimed at expanding MTI's presence in new and existing markets. His insights into industry trends and his ability to foster meaningful connections with customers will ensure that MTI remains a trusted partner in delivering advanced welding solutions.
We also announce the appointment of Nicholas Walford, Global Director of Engineering. Walford is an accomplished individual who has held multiple senior engineering roles in the Friction Welding field. As a strategic investment, Walford's role focuses on the standardisation of Friction Welding machinery. He will also serve as the Product Manager for Friction Stir Welding as MTI continues to invest in and advance our Stir Welding capabilities. Walford's expertise and insights into the Friction Welding market will ensure that MTI can continue to meet and exceed our customer expectations.
