A year on from becoming an employee ownership trust, Airmaster, based in Swallownest on the Sheffield/Rotherham border, have promoted Gareth Campbell to Operations Director, Andy Benson to Finance Director and Ross Blackwood to Contracts Director.
Gareth, pictured above left, who joined the business as an apprentice at 16, became Contracts Director in 2019 and now becomes Operations Director responsible for the Design, Contracts, Maintenance and Installation teams.
Andy, pictured above middle, joined the business in 2019 as Finance Manager after over 20 years with steel tank and pressure vessel manufacturer, Eddison and Wanless has been promoted to Finance Director.
Ross, pictured above right, who joined Airmaster in 2018 as a Project Engineer in the Contracts team now takes over from Gareth Campbell as Contracts Director.
James Dawson, below left, becomes Head of Design and Dan Birch, below right, moves from Design to Contracts becoming Junior Project Engineer. Ross, James and Dan were all part of the Airmaster team who completed 15k Tough Mudder in aid of the Master Cutlers Challenge early this year.

Airmaster have also taken on 2 new apprentices Max Brough, 18 comes from welding background, passed his CSCS Card in his first week and Owen Struggles, 17 joins straight from school at Aston Comprehensive. The new apprentices add to the team of installation engineers including Chad Lake, Brad Kimpton and Ash Sanderson who have all now completed their apprenticeships at Leeds College of Building with Chad becoming an Installation Engineers and Brad and Ash joining the team of Maintenance Engineers.
