Three Yorkshire Companies Host In-Person Mastercla...

Tuesday 8th March was a landmark moment for the Made in Group, featuring the first ever in-person Masterclass; which was hosted by Leeds-based Clarion, who delivered presentations alongside fellow members ROCOL and The Partners Group.

The subject for this event was Strategy to Sales in Manufacturing - with the speakers all providing their own brand of expertise on this important subject (both within the manufacturing industry and beyond!). There was also an opportunity for attendees to network before and after the presentations, with Clarion kindly providing a fantastic selection of food and drink at their premisis in Leeds.

It was emphasised during this event that sales and marketing communications are the lifeblood of a successful entrepreneurial manufacturing business. Therefore, it is vital to segment your market, prioritise your efforts and engage with potential customers in relevant and meaningful ways.

The speakers for this event were Stephen Crow (Director at Clarion Solicitors), Karen Tinkler (Director at The Partners Group) and Shaun Heys (Marketing Communications Manager at ROCOL).

Stephen, Karen and Shaun all provided practical ways in which businesses can  build an effective sales strategy, ultimately ensuring that they reach their target audience and deliver the optimum results.

Made Masterclasses are an event format which aims to distill the latest, most important best practices to members of MIM and MIY, straight from the mouths of industry leading speakers. Following on from the presentations, members were also given the opportunity to ask questions during an open forum Q&A. 

These events have been traditionally held virtually, however, three members of Made in Group joined forced here to hold the first ever in-person Made Masterclass, and what a valuable occasion it was!
